Dr. Bastos received her DMD degree in 2006 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2011 she was awarded his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (Rutgers Dental School).
Dr. Bastos worked for 8 years at Monmouth Medical Family Health Center where she comprehensively treated a diverse patient population using a multi-disciplinary approach. She is currently an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA), and Monmouth and Ocean County Dental Society (MOCDS).
Dr. Bastos has been teaching the dental residents during their General Practice Residency (GPR) at the Monmouth Medical Center, in Long Branch, NJ since 2015. She is passionate about dentistry and loves to improve patients' smiles.
Dr. Bastos was voted NJ Top Dentist in 2021 and Monmouth County Top Dentist in 2022 by her peers.
In her spare time she likes to spend time with her husband and 3 children.

Dr. Christopher J. Garofalo, was raised in Middletown, NJ, he studyed Biology and Psychology at Rutgers University subsequently attended the College of Dental Medicine at Columbia University and graduated with multiple awards and distinctions upon being awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree. Dr. Chris later completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ.
Dr. Chris understands each patient has a unique smile and thus seeks to provide individualized treatment to assist patients in achieving their goals. His ultimate objective is to improve the quality of life for his patients while maintaining a relaxed environment and level of trust to deliver care at the highest level.
Dr. Chris is a big sports fan, in his free time, you may find him at a sporting event supporting his favorite teams, at the beach, reading, or spending time with his family.
Stephanie has worked greeting patients for many years. She loves to help everyone understand their dental treatment. She is the voice over the phone when you call us. When she is not in the office, Stephanie is baking amazing deserts, running Sweets by Steph and spending time with her two amazing children. Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish

Nubia is our dental assistant, she is excellent at keeping patients at ease and helping Dr. Isabel Bastos and Dr. Chris Garofalo provide the best dental care and smiles to patients. She has been working in the medical field for 8 years and is excited to join our dental team. She is in charge of sterilizing our instruments and keeping our office the cleanest around. She is a wife (happily married for 28 years!) and mother of 2 beautiful children. Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
Danie is our dental assistant, she is very efficient and does everything with passion. She ensures our rooms are clean and ready, while keeping patients comfortable and at ease.
Danie enjoys seeing people's smiles transform and gain confidence.
You would never be able to tell but she is a thrill seeker. Always willing to go Skydiving or zip-lining
Born in Brazil, Isabel moved with her family to New Jersey when she was only 9 years old. She is trilingual, fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Isabel has been in the dental field for over 15 years she started as a dental assistant where she quickly became passionate about dentistry. Her passion inspired her to further her education in dental hygiene. She graduated from Rutgers School of Health Related Professionals in 2013. Isabel and her husband have two daughters and a dog. Aside from spending time with her family and close friends. Isabel loves to travel, she believes that traveling takes us out of our comfort zones and inspires us to see, taste and try new things.
